Toyo Tires Open Country A/T

- Toyo Tires Open Country A/T -

"Toyo who?" Probably known best for their big-rig and ricer tires, Toyo breaks into the off-road market big time with their Open Country A/T all-terrains. These tires were perfectly designed to ride on our 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee, offering an optimum cross engineering of performance, off-road ability, and quality ride.

Dirt Road Magazine Seal Of Approval The computer-designed tread is extremely quiet on the road, while a wide tread pattern bites well into almost anything you would care to put your Jeep into. We've had them knee-deep in snow, mud, sand, and gravel, and we've yet to get stuck; though not from lack of trying. So far the only thing we'd change is to make them BIGGER!

We currently have only 4-inches of lift on our '99 Grand, so we went with P265/75R16's - basically a 32" tire. We can't wait to stuff 33's underneath!

Looking at these tires, what sets them apart is the finely-spaced all-terrain tread separated by a wide self-cleaning space that helps to keep the tread clear of debris, resulting in better traction.

Mild enough for brand new WK owners, yet wild enough for extreme XJ's, WJ's and TJ's, Toyo Open Country A/T tires fill a wide gap left open by most other tire manufacturers. Thank you, Toyo!

Final Analysis:

If you are having a difficult time deciding between muds and all-terrains, we urge you to seriously consider the Toyo Tires Open Country A/T tire. Deceptively quiet on the highway, these tires deserve credit for their off-road ability.
