Central 4 Wheel Drive

Ask any Jeeper you know for a recommendation for new shocks, and Rancho RS9000's are sure to enter the conversation. You don't easily earn the respect the Rancho RS9000 enjoys, either. You earn it by being far and away one of the best shocks ever produced to meet the on- and off-road capabilities of your Jeep.

Like all Tenneco Automotive products, the Rancho RS9000 is built to last, and is adjustable to meet your specific needs. Choose from one of five firmness settings to make your Jeep ride the way you want it to. Each shock is separately adjustable, so you can set the front shocks differently from the rear, and even use one setting for on-road, and another for off-road. You even have the option of adding an in-cab remote control kit, so you can change the settings of your front and rear shocks on the fly.

When installing the 4" Tera Flex lift onto our Jeep Grand Cherokee Project recently, we didn't even think about adding any other shock. We knew we had to have Rancho 9000's and designed our installation accordingly. We also converted our front shocks from the factory stud (S1) type to the more reliable eyebolt (EB1) mount using adapters available from Central 4 Wheel Drive.

For those of you not familiar with our project vehicles, we are also running Rancho RS9000's on our 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ, and a couple of others, as well. We wouldn't have it any other way.

Whether you are planning to lift your Jeep or you are just upgrading the shocks you currently have, give some very serious consideration to some very serious shocks. They've earned it.
