Eric Billingsley's 1989 Comanche

I have a 1989 4.0 Jeep Comanche with a 5spd ax-15. Current mods include a 3" BDS lift, Rancho RS5000 shocks, 28x11.00 street tires on 15x8 AR 767's. Also seen in the pictures are the double tube roll bar, a grille guard, and an invisible rear bumper (ripped off in a mud-hole). Future plans include a spring-over in the rear and a leveling 6" lift in the front via Daystar spacers to go with the 3" coils. Steering and control arm corrections are coming from Rusty's Offroad and a drop pitman arm and track bar relocation are coming from Superlift. 33" tires and 4.11's are my final goal.

Chris Ladnier's 1986 Jeep Comanche X

Chris' MJ has the 2.8 liter V6, extended bed.

"Jeep trucks are by far the best thing to ever happen to America. I just put in a rebuilt motor so my Jeep runs like new. Currently it's stock, but future plans include: 1 foot suspension lift, 4x4 parts, tinted windows, and roll bar with mounted lights. Far in the future I intend to make the first Jeep Comanche X Extended Cab. I have a 9-foot bed so I figure I can sacrifice about two feet of the bed to extend the drivers cab. It will be a sight, and give me the space I want while driving. Sound system includes Pioneer CD player, Pioneer 700-watt amp, 2 10" JBL sub woofers, and 6in. front Pioneer speakers with tweeters. It's the loudest Comanche I've ever heard. It also has 31-inch all terrain tires. Tomorrow my Jeep heads off to get its first paint job in 13 years. The only reason I ever had the drive to learn about automobiles and body work is to work on my Jeep. It gives me a sense of pride like nothing else can." - Chris

Robin's Comanche has a 2.8L V6.

"I took the photo in the Sonoran desert south of Phoenix close to where I live. It's mostly stock except for the custom camper and Bose stereo. Plans for the future include 3-inch lift and 32" tires. Nice big wheels too! It's taken me into some of Arizona's most unusual and secret back-desert and mountain places." - Robin

Joe Messinger's 1986 Comanche

Joe Messinger's 1986 Comanche

Joe's MJ is a 1986 Comanche MJ 4x4 with a 2.8L V6 ("Oh, how I long for a 4.0L") with a 5spd.  It's mostly stock, except for a Pioneer CD player, Pioneer component speakers, 29" All Terrain tires, Direct Hits, and a K&N Air filter.

Future plans include a 3-4" lift, 31" BFG Mud Terrains, rear locker, front posi, and 4.10 gears.

"Even stock, this truck never ceases to amaze me.  I've had it in muck up to the tops of the tires, and it ate it right up. Jeep trucks Rule! This is my first Jeep and I love it." - Joe

Bob's MJ is mostly stock except for the lights. He has also added a Sony CD head unit with a 10" Polk sub and an Infinity Kapa component set in the doors.

"I think it's better to leave a Jeep stock, because they are built good enough that you shouldn't have to do anything to them." - Bob
